The Independent National Electoral Commission says it will write the Inspector General of Police, Baba Ahmed, to investigate and prosecute the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Adamawa State, Hudu Ari.
The commission reached the decision on Tuesday at the technical meeting attended by national commissioners of INEC in Abuja.
INEC also decided to write the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, to brief President Muhammadu Buhari about the action of the REC.
In a tweet via its Twitter Account, the commission stated that the collation process shall resume at a time to be determined by the Returning Officer.
