Ibe Kachikwu keeps mum after meeting with Buhari

The meeting between Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, and President Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja which began around 11:33am and lasted for about 1hr and 20mins.

Kachikwu after the meeting declined to speak with state house correspondents who accosted him.

He was at the statehouse to meet with President Buhari over the petition he wrote against the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Maikanti Baru.

Kachikwu in the petition dated August 30th, accused Baru of insubordination as well as awarding a $25 billion contract without due process.
