Hoodlums hack NURTW boss at home, shoot him dead in hospital

Kunle Ajibade, a leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Lagos State, was assassinated by suspected hoodlums at Ijeshatedo, Surulere.
PUNCH According to Metro, the perpetrators attacked the 28-year-old at his home before following him to a hospital where he was being treated.
He was alleged to have been shot many times.
The victim’s brother, Kehinde, claimed his brother was being transported to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital when he gave up on the journey.
The circumstances surrounding Kunle’s death began at a celebration known as Prosper Day, according to our source.
Last Saturday’s celebration was hosted on Ijikoyijo Street in Ijeshatedo, where Kunle was the NURTW’s vice-chairman.

One gang was led by a transport worker, Kunle Kehinde, who was stabbed with different weapons, including machetes. Kunle Adeola, 20, was hacked to death with machetes and shot in the hand, back and thigh at a hospital in Ijesha, Lagos. Police have transferred the case to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba.
