Home Eagles Qualify For CHAN With 2-0 Victory

Nigeria defeat Benin 2-0 and qualify for the 2018 Africa Nations Championship to be hosted by Kenya.

The fans at the Sani Abacha Stadium, where the game was played were over-joyous with the victory.

The Home Super Eagles had lost 1-0 to Benin Republic in the first leg played last week in Benin.

Rabiu Ibrahim scored the first goal for  Nigeria in the 20th minute of the game.

The Benin side got a lifeline when they won a penalty but Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa dived in the right direction and made sure the score remained unchanged.
