Unknown gunmen have abducted a lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT, Dr. Reginald Ohiri.
Dr. Ohiri is a lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry was said to have been abducted from his resident in Aluu community, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The kidnappers have established a contact with his family and are now demanding the N2m as ransom for his release.
According to news sources, the yet to be identified gunmen forced their way into Ohiri’s compound through the gate. The hoodlums were said to have arrived the resident of the lecturer on Monday evening.
