Governor Umahi names Ebonyi airport after Buhari

Ebonyi State government, today said it has secured approval from the federal government to inaugurate Flight Operations at the International Airport, Onueke.

It was gathered that the airport has been named after President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking to newsmen in Abakaliki, the senior special assistant to the governor on Aviation and technology, Mrs. Obianuju Alo said that the inauguration will boost business activities in the state.

Alo noted further that six persons per Local Government Area have been approved by the state government to be scheduled to board the test flight from Abuja and Lagos and the cost of tickets would be borne by the State Government.
