Governor Oyebanji swears in SSG, AG, cautions against corruption

The Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun OYEBANJI, has reiterated the readiness of his administration to sustain the virtues and values of the state through the appointment of people with proven integrity into key positions in his administration.

At the swearing-in ceremony of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Habibat ADUBIARO and the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Toba Apata, SAN, Oyebanji noted that his administration would bring on board people with missions to develop the state.

Governor Oyebanji, who said the Appointees were chosen by merit, noted that there was no imposition from any quarters but courage, fairness, competence and character were considered in making the appointments.

He charged the appointees to demonstrate commitment to the development of the state in line with achieving his electioneering promises to the people and noted that his administration would not condone corruption and acts of indiscipline in public office.

Present at the occasion were traditional rulers and top government officials.
