Outgoing president of France, Francois Hollande, has said his successor Emmanuel Macron’s inauguration will hold this Sunday, May 14, 2017.
Macron won the presidential election with 66.1 per cent against 33.9 per cent for Far-right Le Pen.
After being sworn in on Sunday, his immediate challenge will be to secure a majority in next month’s parliamentary election in order to implement his programme.
