Election time is once again upon the nation with candidates already declaring their intention to vie for one office or the other. From the office of the President, to Governorship, the National and State legislatures, politicians have begun their meetings and political alignments all with a view to electoral victory.
Given this development, women have been urged to continue to find their voice and partake in politics and decision making .This was part of the submission at a seminar for women and girls on human rights civic responsibility organized at the instance of Nuhu Fatimoh Foundation (NUFAT) in PARTNERSHIP with ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) with the support from Women Voice and Leadership (WVL).
Royal Times reports that Issues surrounding Importance of Voters Registration, Importance of Permanent Voters Card, Voters rights and infringements during elections where discussed by the Coordinator of NUFAT, DR AYINKE SAKA and other speakers including Hajia Modupe Olajimeji, Hajia Nimot Labaika , Folashade Aransiola among others .
