Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed concern over the safety of Nigerians during the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari and called for concerted effort by stakeholders to stem the tide of insecurity in the country.
Obasanjo made the statement while receiving the Peoples Democratic Party presidential aspirant Ugochukwu Williams at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta.
Obasanjo said the regime of President Buhari is overwhelmed with security issues and Nigerians are not safe anywhere, either on the road, in the train or at the airport. He, however, urged Nigerians not to allow themselves to be overwhelmed by the security challenges.
