Former Kwara Lawmakers Endorse Second Term Bid of Governor Abdulrasaq
The former Kwara State House of Assembly members forum of the Kwara state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has commended the Kwara State governor, Mallam AbdulRahaman AbdulRasaq for creating lion share of fifty point nine per cent of the 2023 budget proposal  to capital expenditure.
The ex-law makers expressed their solidarity support for the second term bid of the governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRasaq. They urged Kwara residents to vote for the second term bid of the governor.
Reading the resolution of the former House of Assembly members , Honorable Benjamin Oyeyemi said ” having reviewed the political situations and sociopolitical development of Kwara State, the governor has performed excellently in the last three and half years in office.
The former Kwara State House of Assembly members forum includes the first republic to eight republic.
In his address , the chairman of the forum, Ezekiel Folarinde said since the assumption of Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq in office in 2019 has touched all the twenty -four constituencies in Kwara State.
Some of the projects include rehabilitation of Ilesha, Baruba and Gwanara township road, Okuta township road and Okuta hospital. The newly completed Jebba road, construction of road network in Ilorin, provision of boreholes for Ilorin east constituency.
Others include renovation of the maternity centre to the basic health centre in Owode Onire constituency , upgrading of Ogele primary to SMART standard level with ICT among other projects in the state.
