Following a meeting with the leaders and members of the Fulani community, former president Goodluck Jonathan is reportedly considering to contest for the seat of the President under the All Progressives Party (APC).
It is recalled that the some Fulani leaders a few days ago procured the one hundred million naira presidential nomination forms for the former president to declare his intention to run for presidency under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In response to the procurement of the nomination form, Jonathan denied authorizing the acquisition of the nomination form and remained mute on ambition in contesting for presidency during the 2023 General Election.
However, it was gathered that the former president after about two hours meeting with the leaders of the Fulani community reportedly reversed his initial decision and now willing to run for presidency.
Newsmen gathered that the former president during the meeting reportedly accepted the plea of the Fulani Community, who revealed that they procured the nomination form for him as a demonstration of their appreciation for the 60 billion naira investments which he made for the Almajiris during his tenure.
