Festivities: Kwara APC felicitates with Christians, offers assurances of a greater 2023
The Kwara State Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejoiced with members of the Christian faith as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ while offering assurances of a greater year 2023 with the extension of the AbdulRahman AbduRazaq-led administration.
This was according to a statement issued by its spokesperson, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Oyeyemi Olasumbo Florence. Describing the Christmas celebration as full of joy and colour, she urged Christians across the country, and in Kwara State, to abide with the generosity of spirit and kindness occasioned by the season.
She congratulated Christians brothers and sisters in Kwara and Nigeria on the celebration of this year’s Christmas.
According to APC, the important event, central to the Christian faith, provides hope and good cheer to adherents of the faith. The generosity of spirit and kindness occasioned by the season also serve to strengthen communal bonds and inspire positive actions,” the statement read.
She also gave assurances of more positive developments in the year 2023.
While encouraging residents to take advantage of the holidays to revitalise bonds with loved ones and their communities, she urged safe and responsible celebrations, particularly on the road, with complete observance of all safety guidelines issued by relevant authorities.
