Energize our transformer or stop distributing bills to Kulende

The People of New Kulende Market Community in Ilorin South Local Government have called on the Management of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company IBEDC to as a matter of Urgency energize their transformer whom their staffer Collected over five hundred thousand naira to repair without further delay .

The Community who has been suffering from total black over the last six months out as a result of their faulty transformer, reported the case to IBEDC through the Ministry of Commerce, Business and Innovation, which had later Contracted the repair to one Mr Dada Nepa of IBEDC for the sum of five hundred thousand naira with the approval by the hierarchy of the Company.

In a statement Issued on Monday by the leader of the Community and Iyaloja of Kulende Market, Alhaja Kafilat Adebisi said the Community is tired and frustrated by the deliberate action of the IBEDC to subject the community to total black out and hardship, despite paying such huge amount to their official with their consent to fix the transformer, imploring them to do the needful.

Alhaja Kafilat Adebisi who is furious with the lackadaisical attitude of IBEDC towards the Community, vowed that the Community will not hesitate to institute legal action against the company if they fail to act in few days.

Simple Gist online reports that While speaking with the contractor on phone, Mr Dada, he confirmed that the transformer has been fixed and has been reported to the technical department of IBEDC who will now energize it, noting that he has done what was expected of him and the remaining work lies on IBEDC technical official.
