Emir of Ilorin returns from UK ,thanks Kwarans
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has thanked the people of Ilorin Emirate and beyond for their fervent prayers on the occasion of his 27th coronation anniversary while he was away in the United Kingdom.
The Emir, in a Thank You message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, stressed that the first class monarch expressed his appreciation shortly on arrival at the Ilorin International Airport today.
He added that he will continue to play his fatherly roles in the state as the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs with the support and continuous prayers of residents of the state noting that, “Only peaceful coexistence can transform into the desired growth and development in the state.”
The Emir was received by traditional Chiefs, Islamic clerics, associations and groups who expressed their solidarity and loyalty in appreciation of his role as father to all.
