The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR will Today Monday 17th April 2023 organise a special prayer in honour of Hon. Justice Ahmad Olarewaju Belgore on his attainment of retirement age of 70 as a Justice of Court of Appeal, (JCA). Born on 18th April 1953, the highly respected jurist would finally take a bow from active service on Tuesday 18th April 2023 when he would clock 70years with outstanding services to Nigerian government, international community and humanity at large.
Royal Times reports that this is contained in statement issued by the Emir’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona stressing that Hon. Justice Ahmad Olarewaju Belgore has served the nation meritoriously as worthy ambassador of Ilorin Emirate.
According to the statement, “His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has approved that a special prayer in honour of the jurist’s retirement be scheduled for Monday 17th April 2023 at the Madrasatul Sheikh Alimi inside Emir’s Palace, Ilorin.
“The prayer would be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Imam-Soliu OON to be assisted by other clerics in the Emirate while all traditional chiefs are expected to grace the spiritual gathering.”
