Eleven Days After Baba Sala’s death, Yoruba Actor “Baba No Regret” Dies At eighty-three

The Yoruba movie community has once again been thrown into mourning as actor, Ola Omonitan- known popularly as Baba No Regret or Ajimajasan has passed away at the age of eighty-three. His death comes just under a fortnight after veteran comic Baba Sala died in his sleep.

 

Report gathered that the comedian had been admitted at the University College Hospital, Ibadan for multiple ailments including prostate cancer. He was however said to have been discharged on Monday.

 

Public Relations Officer at the UCH, Deji Bobade, told newsmen that the family brought him to the hospital early on Thursday but the doctor who attended to him confirmed that he was dead. Ajimajasan was best known for his television series Omo Araye Le and Bata Wahala.
