Dino Melaye, Others Walk Out From Collation Centre

Dino Melaye, Others Walk Out From Collation Centre

Agents of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Dino Melaye and Emeka Ihedioha have walked out of the collation centre in Abuja.

Melaye and Ihedioha as well as some party agents alleged manipulation of some figures, calling on the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Prof Mahood Yakubu to review them.

They also insisted the figures from the different States should be uploaded on the server of the commission. But Yakubu said there would be no review until the process was completed, a development that made Melaye and Ihedioha to walk out of the centre.

It could be recalled that the collation agent of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dino Melaye, has challenged the method of collation and result announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission at the National Collation Centre in Abuja, on Monday.
