The Kwara State Police Command has rejoiced with a one time Commissioner of Police in Kwara state command and presently the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Force Criminal Investigation Department, Force Headquarters, Abuja who has just successfully completed his PhD program.
A statement signed by the Kwara state police public relation officer SP Ajayi okasanmi read that it is most gratifying to state that the DIG is well known for his passion for the pursuit of academic excellence owing to the totality of his academic accomplishments since his days as an undergraduate from the prestigious University of Lagos where he obtained the following degrees Bsc Mathematics, Post-graduate Diploma in Computer Science among others .
The DIG added the PHD from the Center for Peace and Security Studies, Al-hikma University, Ilorin and thereby making history as the first PhD candidate to graduate from the Center.
Royal Times reports that Dr Egbetokun’s Research Topic was titled ENDSARS PROTEST POLICING STRATEGIES AND COMMUNITY SECURITY IN LAGOS, STATE NIGERIA.
