The Kwara State Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole has vowed to henceforth take stiff penalty against any government workers found wanting in their point of duty.
Apparently enraged by the poor turnout of staff during her routine visit to Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) in the state capital warned that the government would not condone dereliction to duty.
She therefore directed that all Heads of Ministries, Department and Agencies in the state service should immediately resume the time book register for their staff.
Oluwole decried the nonchallant attitude of some workers to duty despite government’s efforts and commitment at providing conducive working environment and improved welfare package.
