The Kaduna State High Court today adjourned the hearing on the bail application of the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, till second August.
The court fixed the second of August following the arraignment of El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, by the state government this morning.
The presiding Judge, Justice Gideon Kurada, adjourned the matter to enable the prosecution to serve the two other persons standing trial with the Shiites leader. The Shiite leader and his wife were charged with eight counts bordering on culpable homicide, unlawful assembly, and disturbance of public peace, among other allegations.
