Concerned retired Kwara state civil servants back APC for 2019 election

Thousands of members of the retirees under the aegis of concerned retired Kwara state civil servants across the sixteen local government of Kwara state have today expressed their total support for the All progressive Congress ahead of 2019 general election.

Speaking today at an interactive session, the chairman of the group, Alhaji Mohammed Abioye alleged that retirees have suffered under the leadership of the Senate president Doctor Bukola Saraki since 2003 till date.

According to him, payment of gratuities and pension as well as workers welfares has not been taken as priority by the state government for over a decade. He explained that pensioners in the state are ready to vote massively for all ‘OTO GEE’ candidates.

Speaking at the event, the state leader of the APC and the minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed and the a stakeholder of the party, barrister Akogun Oyedepo  commended all the retirees for their support, saying all their challenges will be treated as soon as APC assume office in the state.
