Civil servants charged on service delivery, as kwara marks 2018 civil service week

written by Esther faroye September 9, 2018

As the Kwara state government marks the 2018 civil service week celebration, an appeal has gone to all civil servants across the state to make a good difference in service delivery through faithfulness, self-dedication and good performance for the betterment of the state.

In his sermon today at the inter-denomination church service held at Rhema Chapel church, Tanke in Ilorin, pastor Toyin Olawumi appealed to all civil servants to actively carryout government service as they will want others to do their personal business for them.

Speaking on behalf of all workers in the state, the Permanent Secretary on Political matters at the Governor’s office, elder David Adesina who thanked God for his protection, gift of life and blessing, prayed to God to grant all the civil servants the grace to celebrate 2019 civil service week.

In an interview with newsmen shortly after the thanksgiving ceremony, the head of service of Kwara state Mrs Modupe Oluwole assured the civil servants of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed’s commitment in providing enabling environment for the servants to deliver optimally.

While noting that the nation has been witnessing economic crisis, the head of service said the state governor will continue to take civil servants welfare as priority.
