Christmas: Jagunlabi celebrates with widows, aged, share food items

In the spirit of festivity, the Jagunlabi foundation has distributed food items to widows and aged people in Osi community, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The foundation, which was founded by Barrister Abiola Yinus Abdulkareem is poised to elevate the suffering of the aged people in the community and also to ensure that they also have the necessary resources to merry during the Christmas and New Year festive season.

The distribution took place on Thursday and Friday. Items distributed include rice, live chicken, groundnut oil, cooking ingredients, and cash, among others.

According to the head of the distribution team, Mrs Aisha Alabi Abd’Lateef, the food items were shared across the community to the less privileged, widows as well as aged men and women, in Osi Community to put smiles on their faces and give them the cause to celebrate joyously in their various homes.

Mrs Aisha Alabi Abd’Lateef said Jagunlabi foundation heartily felicitates with all Christian faithful on the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, saying it is the least the foundation could do to give the beneficiaries and their families reasons to celebrate.

“While we find joy in putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged, from all of us at Jagunlabi foundation, we wish everyone Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance,” she said.

The beneficiaries expressed joy and appreciation for the gesture. They enormously prayed for the founder of the foundation, Barr Abiola Yinus Abdulkareem and his team.
