China donates N60million to Aisha Buhari’s project

The People’s Republic of China has donated N60 million to the project of the wife of the President, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari.

Spokesman of the President’s wife, Suleiman Haruna in a statement said the donation was in recognition of her efforts towards improving the lives of women and children across Nigeria, as well as victims of insurgency.

Haruna said the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Dr. Hajo Sani, thanked China for the support and goodwill, pledging that the donation would reach its intended beneficiaries.

Presenting the donation, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Chinese Embassy, Mr. Lin Jin, said Future Assured had promoted the health and well-being of women, children and the vulnerable.

Jin was quoted as saying; “The embassy pays great attention that its bilateral relationships should benefit people from all walks of life”, .
