Certificate Scandal: Dino Melaye to file N5bn libel suit against Sahara reporters

Senator Dino Melaye is set to file a N5 billion libel suit against an online media platform, Sahara Reporters, Vanguard reports.

The medium had alleged that Melaye did not graduate from the Department of Geography of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Melaye, the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District is filing the suit over what he termed alleged defamation of character, wrongful accusation, among other charges.

According to his media office, the suit will be filed at the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court, at 9am on Thursday.
