Central Bank of Nigeria Debunks Devaluing Naira Report, Describes It As Fake

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), on Thursday debunked the claim that it has devalued the naira to six hundred and thirty-one naira per dollar at the Importers and Exporters’ (I&E) window.

Recall that it was earlier reported that the CBN devalued the Naira to  six hundred and thirty-one naira to the dollar from four hundred and sixty-one point six it sold at the Importers and Exporters (I&E) window on Tuesday.

Reacting to the news, the central bank described the report as “fake news,” urging members of the public to disregard it as such had not been done.
