Census: Security agencies pledge support for successful exercise

Security agencies in Kwara state have pledged competency and adequate support for the success of national population census and housing counting exercise commencing on the 3rd of may 2023.

The agencies affirmed their support in achieving a successful census at the National population commission inauguration of the state census security and logistics committee for 2023 population census exercise held in Ilorin today.

The chief host of the inauguration, Mr Kayode Alabi Deputy Governor of Kwara state represented by the commissioner of communications Mallam Sodiq Abubakar Buhari summoned the security chiefs and member of the logistics committee to ensure that all necessary measures are put in place for the effective and peaceful census exercise.

 While charging the inaugurated committee members, the honorable commissioner of NPC in Kwara state Alhaji Abdulrazak Folorunsho Gidado appreciated chiefs of security agencies and noting that to have a successful census the availability of security agencies cannot be over emphasized.
