It was a time of praise galore and commendations in Shao ,Moro local government area of Kwara state venue of a book unveiling in celebration of chief Joe Olarogun.
The book, A Biography of Chief Taiwo Joseph Olarogun, Asiwaju of Shao provided an avenue for sons and daughters of Shao community at home and abroad to celebrate one of their own in a fete of a kind, and by the symbolism of the book in honor of a colossus.
Dr. Femi Olarogun,son of chief Joel Olarogun who is been celebrated says “other community needs to also take a cue and celebrate personalities in their community during their lifetime”.
Meanwhile ,Author of the book Dr.Kehinde Akano says “Shao community parades influential ,successful sons and daughters whom the community will continue to celebrate”. Akano described Shao community as a palm kernel tree that grows and flourish amidst thorns.
Celebrating distinguished individuals within any community will no doubt reinforce the identity of that community as observed in Shao with The book A Biography of Chief Taiwo Joseph Olarogun ,Asiwaju of Shao.
