Boko Haram occupying 8 Borno LGAs, as army orders final push

Boko Haram terrorists occupying eight out of ten local government areas in the northern part of Borno State.

The federal lawmaker, Ahmadu Jaha (of the All Progressives Congress representing Damboa-Gwoza-Chibok), while speaking at the plenary session of the House of Representatives contributing to a motion on the need for special funding for security agencies.

Federal lawmaker said that the chief whip to the house can bear his witness that out of the ten local governments in northern Borno, and only two local governments and it is the headquarters that are not under the occupation of Boko Haram.

Jaha gave the startling revelation yesterday that the number of geographical locations in Borno State and other insurgency-related areas are under the occupation of Boko Haram.

Federal lawmaker said to take for instance, a local government that has thirteen electoral wards like Gwoza, and only three or four wards are not under the occupation of Boko Haram.

Ahmadu Jaha said that Chibok as ten electoral wards and only two are not under the occupation of Boko Haram adding that Damboa had ten electoral wards, only one ward is not under the occupation of Boko Haram, as far has Chibok/Damboa/Gwoza federal constituency is concerned.
