Defeated All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Adamawa State Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) has denied offering two billion naira bribe for her declaration as governor-elect on Sunday by the controversial Resident Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Yunusa-Ari.
She said an officer of the Department of State Services (DSS) was tortured by some thugs, state government agents and the Government House police to make such unfounded allegations against her.
It was gathered that she described herself as a democrat, who will never do anything to subvert democratic process.
Binani, who made the clarifications in a statement in Abuja, said she had won elections into the House of Representatives and the Senate in a free and fair manner.
