Barrister Toyin Ojora Saraki International Championship to kick off January 2023

Barring any last minute change , arrangements have been concluded to commence the first edition of Barrister Toyin Ojora Saraki
international sports championship billed to kick off between Jan.15 to Jan. 20 ,2023.

This was disclosed by Ambassador Temitayo Femi Abolarin ,president and founder of Double T Baseball and Softball Nigeria .

According to him, “the sport event which is expected to parade 10 teams across the Nation who will slug it out will also fetch some of the best talents a sponsorship by Wellbeing Foundation Africa to an international sports championship” .

Ambassador Abolarin who spoke on the sideline of Barrister Toyin Ojora Saraki Baseball and Softball clinic and Educational talk held in Ilorin , Kwara state capital noted that the organisation continues to combine sports and education with the sole aim to discover talents from the grassroots .

Abolarin who is also the African Director and European Commissioner of International Sports ,California concluded that Barrister Toyin Ojora Saraki was chosen as role model and life matron of the tournament based on the achievement of her husband Dr.Bukola Saraki and her Own achievement when she was the first Lady of Kwara state.

In her brief remarks at the event ,Barrister Toyin Ojora Saraki who expressed excitement at the participation of secondary school students at the Baseball and Softball clinic and Educational talk promised to do all it takes to support and see that every child in Kwara state succeeds in their chosen endeavours.

Speaking to students at the event ,wife of the former Senate president said “this is just the beginning , I want you to learn this baseball and Softball as well as you can because I promise you today that those who win at the State level will go on to the National level support the identified talents to become international champion”.

Co-founder and Technical Director for Double T Baseball and Softball Nigeria Ogunseye Joseph Oluwasola in a separate chat with reports at the event said “for this kids , they have alot of prospects because Baseball is one of the sports in the world that have international tournaments for kids as low as 9years to 19years with annual international program and that is our dream for these kids ” .
