Atunwa promises to accept the result of a credible election as Abdulrazak decries alleged vote-buying

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara, Rasaq Atunwa, has pledged to accept the outcome of Saturday’s governorship election if it is devoid of irregularities.

Atunwa made the pledge after casting his vote at Efue-Berikodo in Asa Local Government Area of the state. The PDP flagbearer said as a true democrat, there’s nothing wrong in accepting the result of a free, fair and accurate poll that could stand the test of time.

Atunwa also urged other contestants to accept the outcome of the poll as an act of God and seek redress in the law court if they were dissatisfied.

Meanwhile, the APC governorship candidate Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq speaking after voting at his Idigba polling unit 004 of Adewole Ward also decried the low turn-out of voters and alleged vote-buying by some other parties.
