The Appeal Court sitting in ilorin on Thursday declared Rep. Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin as the validly elected candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ekiti, Irepodun, Isin and Oke-ero Federal Constituency of Kwara in the primaries conducted in June.
The Court of Appeal set aside the rulling of the High Court which earlier declared Segun Adebayo as the winner.
Olawuyi however commended the judiciary for standing on the part of justice, stressing that the judiciary remained the hope of a common man.
The lawmaker promised to be magnanimous in victory, while calling those aggrieved to sheath their sword and work for the collective interest of the party.
