Former Super Eagles winger, Emmanuel Amuneke, has advised Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa factions to reach a truce and end the entanglement currently rocking the Nigeria Football Federation for the sake of the sport in the county.
A Jos court on Tuesday failed to deliver judgement on the case between Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa over who is the legimately elected president of the Nigeria Football Federation, a feud that has been unresolved for the past four years.
The case has been adjourned till September 25.
In a statement, Amuneke expressed his dissatisfaction saying he doesn’t know why the issue is still persisting. He said accurate measures had to be taken to move Nigerian football forward.
The Nigeria Football Federation is now hoping to avoid a FIFA ban as it will stop Nigeria from playing their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in September, while the Super Falcons, Falconets, other national teams and Enyimba, who are in the CAF Confederation Cup, would also be affected.
