The Alternative Party of Nigeria, APN, governorship candidate in Kwara state for 2019 general elections, Ambassador Mohammed Abubakar Mohammed has urged kwarans to support incoming administration and pray for rapid development in the state.
Mohammed who is currently on lesser hajj in Saudi Arabia made this call on Wednesday, noting that the place of God can’t be over emphasized in governance. He added that the incoming administration under Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will need cooperation, understanding and support of kwarans to move the state forward.
Mohammed thanked all his supporters across the state for their unrelenting support by believing in the mission to make Kwara work again. He disclosed that himself and APN didn’t challenge outcome of March 9 governorship election at tribunal despite omission of their party logo on ballot paper by INEC in the interest of state.
He however urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to be dutiful and diligent to avoid such mistake in future polls.
According to him, his party decided to let go of the case after reviewing the outcome of the election. He noted that Kwarans spoke with loud voice through their votes.
