After earlier confusion in Kwara APC, presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu flags off campaign

Although there was a major confusion in the All Progressives Congress, APC in Kwara State on Monday as argument erupted over the postponement of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu/ Shetima APC presidential campaign rally slated for Tuesday in Ilorin, APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other dignitaries however made it to Ilorin ,Kwara state  capital for the flag off of their campaign in the state.

It is recalled that a special adviser on strategy to the state governor, on behalf of the local organising committee, had in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday afternoon in Ilorin said the rally had been postponed because it clashed with President Muhammadu Buhari’s trip to Mauritania.

However another statement from the secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council Honorable James Faleke revealed the rally will hold as scheduled.

But  on Tuesday (yesterday) , party faithful who had been earlier mobilized  gathered at the metropolitan square to receive APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu ,his running mate Kashim Shettima, and party chairman, Abdullahi Adamu .They were received by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and a legion of APC candidates
