The entertainment space is agog after Song writer and Afrobeat musician, Eyanro Ayokanmi popularly known as Frequencie finally drops his next Extended Play, EP on Sunday, March 1, 2020.
The EP titled Afro-Culture contains 9 tracks.
Frequencie, who owns music label, Soft Life Style (SLS), said the EP which he likened to the success story of Joseph the dreamer in the bible, was informed by the treatment metted to Nigerian and African music artistes on the global scene.
The social change crusader said the inspirational EP is also in tune with Naomi Campbell’s call for the full categorization of Afro Pop in the Grammys to give Africans their right of place following the loss of singer, Burna Boy at the Grammys this year.
The cover art of the afro culture EP describes Joseph and the dream he had which is represented by “the coat of many colours.”
He said “ I believe the dream of afro is as beautiful as the coat of many colours of Joseph and this dream can only be accomplished in the unity of African music.”
Frequencie also described the Name ‘Afro culture’ as the beauty of African music that consists of different countries with various tribes having their own unique characteristics from the continent of Africa , and the African Diaspora which is fast growing and recognised worldwide as each day passes by.

Frequencie said his songs as an artiste and writer are to promote unity, self-belief, offer quality entertainment and above all counsel youths on how to get to the peak of their aspirations through legal means.
This he said was evident in his popular songs, Hustle Hard and WAZoBia, which earned him a performance at Felabration as well as a branding project. Hustle Hard was produced by kriz Beatz in 2018 and the Wazobia Ep in 2016 .
Eyanro Ayokanmi is a graduate of Adult and Primary Education, and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He recorded his first song in 2007 and has worked with several notable artistes in Nigeria, to include Sean Tizzle and Vector.
The social change crusader also took active part in preaching against vote buying and selling during the last General elections.
The tracks on ‘Afro culture’ has been making wave because of the uniqueness, lyrical wealth and Afro melody.
