ACPN dissolves Kwara State Executives for anti-party activities, constitutes Caretaker Committee

written by Esther faroye February 14, 2019

The National body of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) has dissolved the Kwara state executive of the party with immediate effect. A statement made available to RoyalFM by the National Chairman of ACPN, Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima, said the state executive was dissolved for engaging in anti-party activities.

Subsequently, the party constituted a Caretaker Committee to tentatively steer the Ship of the Party pending the election of new State Executives.

According to Alhaji Galadima, the Caretaker Committee is to be chaired by Alhaji Babatunde Akeju while Mr. Afolayan Oyewole Michael serves as Secretary.  Mrs. Mohammed Zeliat Asabe and Mr Jimoh Pakoyii are committee members. The ACPN enjoined the dissolved executive to hand over all the ACPN properties in their possession to the Caretaker Chairman.
