Abraham nets tenth EPL goal, Pulisic on target too as Chelsea pip Palace two-nil

Tammy Abraham scored his tenth Premier League as Chelsea climbed to second position in the Premier League following a two-nil win over Crystal Palace at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Chelsea have now won six consecutive league games, with their last defeat coming in the home clash against Liverpool in September. The Blues last won six Premier League games in a row in their title-winning 2016/2017 campaign.

Palace frustrated Chelsea all through the first half with the hosts failing to muster a shot on goal. Abraham however unlocked the visitors defence with the curtain-raiser in the fifty-second minute following a perfect pass from Brazilian midfielder Willian.

Christain Pulisic sealed victory for Chelsea with the second goal 13 minutes from time, his fifth in the last three league games for the Blues. Frank Lampard’s men next league game is against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
