2023: Kwara NALVEJ Canvases Peaceful Elections

Ahead of Saturday’s presidential poll, the National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) in Kwara State, is calling on Nigerians to conduct themselves in an orderly and peaceful manner.

The league specifically enjoined the politicians and their supporters to shun any act capable of disrupting the exercise, reminding them that all eyes are on Nigeria.

NALVEJ, in a statement signed by its chairman,Alhaji Tunde Akanbi and publicity secretary, Alh Abdullahi Olesin, called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remain an unbiased empire by providing a level playing field for all political parties and their candidates.

It equally charged the security agencies to provide a water tight security across the country, before, during and after the elections.

The league equally called on parents and guardians to caution their children against engaging in violent acts during the election period and beyond.
