Some Imo youths have taken to the streets of Owerri, the state capital, in solidarity with Governor Rochas Okorocha, in his face-off with the organized labour in the state.
This happened when members of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC were demonstrating against the sack of 3,000 workers in 19 parastatals, departments and agencies of the state government.
The youths, while calling on workers in Imo State to reverse their purported strike by returning to work, chanted: “On Owelle’s mandate we shall all stand.”
