Transport unions in Kwara State call for completion of abandoned Moro-Ohan Bridge

Due to the deplorable condition of the Moro-Ohan bridge along the Ilorin-Igbeti road, the National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW and the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) has called for the completion of the abandoned bridge.

It is recalled that the Federal Government awarded the construction of the new Bridge, which was constructed in the Colonial era in 2017

According to Abdullahi Gidado, an official of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), the construction works on the new bridge have been abandoned since 2018.
