Simi to release sophomore album next month
  • Songbird, Simi has announced the release date for her sophomore album titled “Simisola“. The album to be released on Friday, September 8, 2017 is coming after her gospel-centric debut album “Ogaju” released in 2006.
  • Simi broke out with the song ‘Tiff’ in 2014, went on to sign a deal with record label X3M Music and has since been flying in leaps and bounds with her music.
  • In 2016 she recorded an EP “Chemistry” with rapper Falz chiefly produced by Sess.
  • Having gone on to release a number of singles in 2016, Simi with Falz won Best Collaboration for ‘Soldier’ and Best Female Vocal Performance for ‘Love don’t care’ at the Headies 2016.
  • Simi is not only a singer and songwriter but a skillful sound engineer who worked on the mixing and mastering of Adekunle Gold’s “Gold” debut album.
