Senate to investigate NNPC boss following allegations leveled against him by Ibe Kachikwu

The Senate has set up a panel to investigate the Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation NNPC, Maikanti Baru, over allegations made against him by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, in a petition sent to President Buhari.

Kachikwu in the petition dated August 30th, accused Baru of insubordination and the award of a $25 million contract without going through due process.

The Senate made this known in it’s official twitter account,
