The Vice president added that similar projects are being implemented in thirty-seven Federal Universities and seven University Teaching Hospitals across the country.

The plant in BUK is expected to provide electricity for about fifty-five thousand, eight-hundred-and fifteen students and three-thousand and seventy-seven staff of the university.
