The Kwara state command of the Nigeria security and civil defence corps NSCDC has apprehended the owner of a cold room known as Azimah food, Mrs Balogun Temitope who the NSCDC said specialized in importing and selling of spoilt fish at Mandate market in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.
Speaking with journalists at the market today, the NSCDC corps public relation officer, Bello Olorunfemi PIC2 said the command worked based on the intelligent information gathered from the people.
The command however advised Nigerians to watch what they consume saying some importers are wicked and ready to kill with their consumable goods. Reacting to the development, the owner of the cold-room, Mrs Balogun Temitope attributed the spoilt fish to power failure and generating technical problem.
