Nigerian airforce loses 3 personnel to road accident in Kaduna

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said it lost three of its personnel in a road accident along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway.

In a statement on Tuesday, the NAF said the dead officers were on duty to Kaduna when their vehicle veered off the road and somersaulted.

The statement read; “The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) today lost 3 personnel to road traffic accident. The sad incident took place at a location close to Doka Hospital along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway.

“The deceased and another airman were on official duty to Kaduna when their vehicle veered off the road and somersaulted.

“Two of the personnel died on the spot while the third person died at the NAF Hospital Kaduna after they were airlifted from the scene of the accident by NAF helicopter.

“The only survivor is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital. While commiserating with their families and loved ones, we pray God to grant repose to the souls of the departed.”
