Nigeria Centre for Disease Control cautions Nigerians against monkeypox infection

Minister of State for Health, Dr Olorunnimbe Mamora has cushioned Nigerians’ fear, saying the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control is trying all efforts to curb the spread of the threatening monkeypox infection.

The center has said there is no certain treatment available for the infection, urging Nigerians to take measures to prevent contracting the disease.

Following the World Health Organization analysis, the monkeypox infection is endemic to the west and Central African countries, claiming that it already surfaced in some European countries
