written by Samuel Etuk May 7, 2016
Niger Delta Avengers strikes again

The Niger Delta Avengers has claimed responsibility for the bombing of pipelines that link both Warri and Kaduna with crude products.Militants

In a statement signed by its spokesperson, Mudoch Agbinibo, the group claimed to have destroyed the pipeline that gives Lagos and Abuja electricity supply gas.

The group added that on Thursday, May 6, its Strike Team 7 blew up Well D25 in Abiteye which is owned by Chevron.

The Avengers also attacked major pipelines in Alero, Dibi, Otunana and Makaraba flow stations, which feeds the Chevron tank farm despite the heavy military presence in the area.

The Niger Delta Avengers also gave a clear warning to all Niger Delta politicians, traditional rulers, community leaders to mind their business and leave the liberation of the Niger Delta people to the Avengers.

“Those who believe taking sides with the federal government to fight Niger Delta is the best option, Avengers are here on the ground. Neither you nor the federal government can stop us. If you don’t stay clear and let us carry out our activities, we will bring the fight to your individual doorsteps. Our major goal is to cripple the Nigeria economy.”
